Meet Norma Lubin
Veteran. Educator. Visionary. Servant Leader.
My Story
I proudly retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of active duty, achieving the rank of E-8 and serving among the top 2% of the enlisted force. My military career took me around the world—from Saudi Arabia and South Korea to Germany and Qatar—where I led with conviction, compassion, and purpose.
Today, I’m the Founder and CEO of LIFE3 Academy, a thriving public charter school in Montgomery, Alabama. When we opened in 2021, we started with just 180 students. Today, we serve over 600 scholars in grades K–8. Every day, I lead with one mission in mind:
“To develop life-long learners who are self-disciplined, self-sustaining leaders capable of solving global issues.”
I’ve also served as Director of Education at the United States First Sergeant Academy, where I was responsible for teacher certifications, curriculum development, test evaluations, and accreditation. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, and I’m currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration.
My work doesn’t stop at our borders. I’ve led international missions in Sri Lanka, India, and Liberia—providing clean water to villages, distributing over 30,000 meals, and equipping more than 200 local leaders through transformational leadership seminars.
Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, I’m a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. Alongside my husband, Shonta, I serve in our local church where we lead the international missions ministry. Every role I hold is part of a larger purpose—to serve with excellence, lead with love, and walk boldly in faith.
